#1-Filming has helped me learn more about the topics that my group did. I didn't learn that much from the other groups.
#2-No, I still think history is boring.
#3-The most beneficial part of filming is getting the chance to work with other people and make videos.
#4-The most difficult task in filming is having to put together everything and getting ideas for the video.
#5-I would make more time to make the videos.
#6-Blogging didn't really help me at all. It was just more of a hassel than teaching me about history.
#7-I don't but as much effort into history as I do honors biology. Honors Biology is much more difficult than history and harder to understand.
#8-I have and A in the class.
#9-No, our group didn't do that randy did so we really didn't work with different programs.
#10-Yes, I loved my group. If you took one of us out it wouldn't be as great as it is.
#11-Film making was fun I enjoyed it and I'm glad I got to work with randy, gretchan, and tram.

Blog #13

Creating a music video was difficult because you had to first create lyrics, second come up with a song to go with that, and third create what your doing to your song. It's like making three videos at once. Thank goodness we have randy because if not we would be way behind. I did enjoy this better than making plan videos because everyone is actually trying and putting together good material. I think it was fun because we got to put a new 21st century spin on 1700's history. The rubric didn't help at all. lol We haven't even used it except for using it to see how long the video had to be. The easiest part of filming is the fact that randy knows everything creative and rediculously amaizing about it. lol The diffcult part about filming is trying to get it all finished in a short amount of time. haha I'm the leader and I think I did...well I'm not the best leader and I'm going to leave it at that. I think you already know my answer but randy is obviously the best leader because he is God at filming and knows way to much that it is scary lol.

It was a perspective paper so no it really didn't help learn alot about the war. It did help me get better at writing papers though :) lol. The films help more because you actually have to literally put yourself into the situation rather than writing about it. I do have one question, who won lol? Well we aren't meeting, randy is working on it I guess he just goes home and thinks about it all weekend and then on monday we will be done so I like working with him lol. We should also be able to choose our genre. I guess that's all I have to talk about since you don't like me talking about your life! lol

Not sure what we are supposed to do for blog 11. The prompt was kind of confusing. I don't know what kind of paper your talking about and I forget all the homework. So when you see this Ms. G leave a comment and refresh my memory lol. I know it shouldn't be too long because you are always on here. Not that I'm saying you have no life and all but I'm just saying you could get out more. You know go see a movie, do something with friends, you don't have to be on your website and blogger.com all the time. Just a piece of advice since I don't know what else to write about. O yea happy turkey day! :)

Well I thought that the scientist, and artists that we learned about were pretty interesting. It's cool to see how we started out in the science and art world and who started it. Well since our video was not shown in class....still a little pissed not going to lie but I'll get over it lol....I think that kelsey, edwin, drew, and ericas video was the best out of the four. It was more easier to understand than the others and they got their piont across whereas other groups tried and failed miserable. Not really the test came too quickly and I didn't even study the notes I had I just went off of what I heard so hopefully I did well. I think it will work out well as long as we don't have to make the song then it might be a problem lol so I'm kind of uneasy about that. It will be hard to get your piont across on what your trying to show.

Filmaking has actually been the same. The only difference is now we know what we are dealing with. The only problem we are running into is that we have too many good ideas. lol I'm just kidding but the only problem we have is too many people with too many ideas and sometimes certain people take over..(randy) lol and those ideas aren't heard but other than that it's pretty good. Well I haven't heard your lecture yet but I'm sure it will all add up. Our film leader was Tram and even though we had a group leader every week we never actually use our group leader. Our group just uses everyones idea and just mush it together lol but it always comes out together well. For our last movie I hope we still have the same groups because I really like our group and everything we do it's great and we all get along well and have many laughs while making good videos at that. For our last video I'd be the leader if we did have our same groups since I haven't yet and I'm not sure what we'd do but we would have to pull off our best video ever to cap everything off.

Well my thoughts are it's a very important chapter containing important informations about how we got started trading and what we traded. If i had to pick a subject it would've been middle trading. Which is the one that our group choose. i would have my group member becuase we are amaizing and there is no doubt about it lol. I would have us sailing across a sea and each one of us gets killed off in funny ways since the sailors jumped off the ship in attempt of suicide. Then only one of us remained and it stopped because it was going to have a second movie. Since we aren't going to make a second movie everyone is going to have to suffer the suppence on what's going to happen :). lol

The Pilgrams established a colony at Plymouth, Massachusetts, in 1621. The colony sailed to there from England on a ship named The Mayflower, the winter was very harsh for them and two thirds of them died. They met an native Indian that knew english named Squanto who helped them which leaded to them having the first Thanksgiving dinner with the Indians. I think it would deffiently be much different today than what we have now and I don't think I could manage with the differences. It would be interesting though to see it in person but I wouldn't want to live with them lol. I am so pumped for fliming haha hopefully we put together another awesome video. I don't have a book right now so I can't look through the pages and I would have to discuss with my group what we are going to do. BTW.............WE FINALLY MADE IT TO AMERICA!!! It's about freaking time we made it there. We were stuck in Europe and I thought we would never make it! People need to finish their videos faster because we do it before anyone else and ours is the best idk what's up with that lol!

I would rank the powerpiont a 5 out of ten. Mostly because you made it all about yourself and your friends than teaching us new materials. lol I did like the pictures though and the things you did tell us were very informative.. The lesson was just boring I want to get the colonies. The Dutch because they got the land they needed and did what they needed to do with it and that was it, everyone else took forever to do something because they were all fighting. My group did not have a change because un fortunately to everyone else our group is the best! lol BTW Ms. G Obomas signatures on the back of your shirt! haha ")

I would rate our video a big fat 10! It was amaizing and probably our best of the two films. What movies and what lecture are you talking about I didn't even knowyou did this lol. No I like the subject we had and I wouldn't have changed it. I want to look up more about the gold rush that they had and how they found gold or lack there of lol.

In some ways I think it's difficult to express history through creativity. On one hand history can be very boring so it's hard to get ideas on how you can make it interesting. On the other hand alot of movies come from history which you can look at those and come up with new ways to express creativity. Honestly our whole group had alot of ideas put together to make the movie. Randy did do alot of work and had more ideas than the rest of us but we all added a little piece of us in the movie. In our first movie Gretchen was our group leader and in our second movie Randy was, and in both movies Randy took control but it led us to have better ideas and an awesome movie. No, our first video was a little rushed but our second one is going much better as long as we stay on track. My role in the video was Hernando De Soto and he was an explorer that fought Pizzaro in Peru, won and declared that his empire was greater than the Incas. If I had more time for our video I would go back and add a little bit more of us talking instead of pranking but I think it will turn out good.

One thing I remember in class was that Amerigo Vespucci is why America gots its name. I think that's cool that someone not near America gave us our name. I am not really looking forward to this next video. I think we will do good with our group and it will turn out well. It may end up being fun in the end. I would probably add Brandon Hatton because when you put him and Randy together you will get a awesome film with angles and everything lol. I would possible think about putting Do in there to because well he is just halerious.

Our video assignment is going pretty well. The planning and brainstorming worked out really well. My group is amaizing! Tram makes everything seem funny if somethings not working right, gretchen is just gretchen lol. Randy well if you knew randy you would understand but he does have awesome ideas. When you put us together no one comes close to our group. Our group name is camdan and it is an important battle in history. We had a little bit of trouble with our camera and getting it onto the computer but everything worked out great, and our video was the best and I can't wait till our next video.

Hey,
My first impression of the early American history class was that it was gonna be very technological, and that Ms. G is very entergetic which equals fun lol. I think it's going to be a fun class that i can relate to where as history usally bores me to death. Its going to be interesting because it's talking about where I came from and how my country got started. I like the fact that we are using alot of technology because that's what the world is coming to now and im pretty good with it so I think im going to enjoy it.
